MEDIA PRODUCTION Dr. Aaron Smith is a radiology resident at UCSD, and incoming interventional radiology fellow at UCLA. He briefly pursued a career in filmmaking prior to attending medical school, and is co-creator and lead editor on many of the short format videos featured on the Interventional Initiative's website and social media platforms. Dr. Smith's work can be viewed on our MEDIA PAGE. |
WRITTEN CONTENT & WEBSITE Dr. Charles Burke is a practicing Interventional Radiologist and professor of Radiology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He currently serves the department of Radiology as the IR Division Chief and Vice Chairman of Interventional Services. Dr. Burke has created many of the illustrations that are being used on the website and in social media. He is a self-taught artist who became interested in medical illustrations in order to create more effective teaching presentations. Dr. Burke's work can be viewed on our MIIPs PROCEDURE PAGES as well as utilized in upcoming episodes of Without A Scalpel. |
BUSINESS INITIATIVE Dr. Aneesa Majid is an Interventional Radiologist and Founder & President of No Limits Radiology, PA. She is also Founding Partner of ZIPRAD, a digital solution for radiology ordering and pre-certification. Having earned an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, Dr. Majid's business expertise is a welcome contribution to the Interventional Initiative. Dr. Majid is currently taking a leadership role to advice on new strategic business initiatives. |
