The II Quarterly (2025.09)

Dear Friends of the II,

We are excited to announce our launch of iCONSENT on August 24 with medical students, residents, and faculty from UCSD and UCLA, joined by facilitators from Poland and the UK. The weekend began with a special performance of “The Comedy of Errors” at the Old Globe, setting the tone for this humanities-based curriculum. Saturday featured a facilitators’ summit followed by a dinner for all participants in San Diego. On Sunday, we led the participants through the 6 modules of iCONSENT, including short videos, art-based reflections, and didactics by Dr. Eric Keller. The data we collected will help us ensure that iCONSENT deepens empathy and enriches patient communication.
